Jim Bosiljevac is a creative leader with over 20 years of advertising industry experience. He has led teams at global creative agencies and client-side. Before coming to UT, he also taught creative advertising, portfolio development, writing, storytelling and scriptwriting classes for over 20 years at different portfolio schools. His work, the work of his teams, and the work of his students have been recognized at international award shows, including Cannes, One Show and D&AD. He once wrote some labels for ketchup bottles that are in the Clios Hall of Fame.
At UT, he teaches portfolio classes in the Texas Creative program and Integrated Campaigns in The Lab.
He lives in Austin with his wife, three children and two dogs. He enjoys reading, particularly the works of Cormac McCarthy, and coaching his kids’ sports teams. He believes in the power of storytelling and good guacamole.
