Connected by crisis
Our community connects even while socially distancing
In this time of public health crisis, the power of communication and the importance of human connection are magnified. Dean Jay Bernhardt initiated a Facebook group for Moody College faculty and staff to stay connected while we are “socially distancing.”
More than 100 members joined within the first five hours of launch.
“Strengthening our workforce is one of our strategic imperatives, and that is true even when working offsite,” Bernhardt said. “We may need to socially distance physically, but we can socially engage electronically.”
From showcasing our newest furry co-workers to music and movie suggestions, our Big Moody Family will get through this together, by reminding each other to stay strong in spirit and keep a sense of humor.
