Moody Media Symposium 2024

Perhaps at no other time in human history have issues involving peoples and place been so important. This year’s symposium focuses on media in peripheral spaces near and far, and how media and communication can be used for social good and equity. Selina Tusitala Marsh, New Zealand Poet Laureate (2017-2019) and author of Mophead will deliver the symposium’s keynote speech and conduct a workshop on identity and creativity following the keynote. The event, organized by the Center for Global Change and Media, marks the official launch of Moody College’s newest center. Free and open to the public.
